My Journey

Hailing from the great state of Alabama, at 17 years-old, I joined the U.S. Navy. Noticing that I had an eye for taking pictures, I became a Combat Photojournalist. During that time, I directly documented coalition forces against enemy insurgents and so much more. Since retiring from the service in 2013, I have continued to pursue my passion by photographing the occasional wedding and writing feature stories.
